Made personally
Every order is mixed, poured, finished and checked by our small studio team — never outsourced.
Lucent Layers began with one imperfect kitchen-table pour and a belief that everyday objects could feel like art. Today, we still make every piece one at a time — with patient hands, considered colour and a little wonder.

In 2021, Lucent Layers started as an after-hours experiment on a tiny dining table. The first tray had bubbles, uneven edges and far too much pigment — but when the light moved across its glossy surface, something clicked.
We kept learning: measuring to the gram, understanding cure times, pressing botanicals and building colour in whisper-thin pours. What began as curiosity became a language of its own.
Our studio is larger now, but our method has not changed. Small batches. No production line. No copy-and-paste patterns. Just materials, intuition and time.
Beauty matters. So do the choices, materials and hands behind it.
Every order is mixed, poured, finished and checked by our small studio team — never outsourced.
Non-toxic resin, quality pigments, real botanicals and genuine gold leaf selected for longevity.
Swirls move naturally and petals are placed by eye, making every piece truly individual.
Small monthly releases let us create slowly, minimise waste and never compromise the finish.
A finished piece may look effortless, but its shine is built across days. Each stage has its own rhythm, and none can be rushed.
Shop finished piecesWe begin with mood, palette, shape and the feeling the finished piece should carry.
Resin and hardener are measured precisely before pigments and inclusions are layered by hand.
Every piece rests untouched for at least 48 hours before its careful reveal from the mould.
Edges are finished, surfaces polished and every detail inspected before wrapping.
“I want a Lucent Layers piece to feel personal before you even know the story behind it — like the light found something made only for you.”FOUNDER & MAKER · LUCENT LAYERS
